With a new OVA coming out I figured it was time to remind everyone why this site exists in the first place.

1) To celebrate, appreciate and discuss things that are Tenchi related whether it be OVA,Universe,Tokyo,AI etc etc. If I were to be honest though I may not like "Tenchi in Tokyo or "Tenchi Muyo Ai" but I would not stifle discussion on it as all I'm doing at the end of the day is ruining someone else enjoyment. But at the same time I wouldn't stop proper criticism ether as it's always good to hear both sides, As a matter of fact I met a few new members on here that found the site because of Tenchi Muyo Ai.

2) I didn't do this site for profit(I have a job that pays just fine), As a matter of fact I've lost money overall from using my own money to pay for translations. other than some doujin translations I don't need a patreon account or anything, Also if you ever want Tenchi merchandise or something physical we will point you in the right direction.

3) Ive seen what happens to people that overly obsessive about anything and it isn't healthy, although that isn't anyone here just remember to take things in moderation. If you don't like something that's fine but "Don't bring your harp to the party" which means: "Literally ‘to harp’ is to play the harp; figuratively ‘to harp on’ is to dwell tediously on a matter." same goes with something that you reall like.

4) Although I want it to be a positive environment I'd rather us not be an echo chamber ether criticism is good but don't attack someone just because they may be against a popular opinion or like something you don't.

tl;dr What we do here is just a hobby for a product that is made over seas and although it touched our hearts in a way that made us still care about it years later at the end of the day we have no effect on the outcome of what happens with the series as we are not the primary market all we can do is take the good with the bad and move on.

Lastly I'm always willing to reach out and talk to people as long as it remains Civil :woop:
