I have just finished "The Magician King" by Lev Grossman, and am in the early stages of the continuation "The Magician's Land".

I like and recommend both of them so far.

I used to read a lot.  Novels.  Fanfiction.  Etctera.  Now not so much other than online articles :(

I love science.  Not to be conflated with science fiction although some of it is good too.  I hope to find some good recommendations here :)

I have also been reading "The Long Earth" series by Terry Pratchett. It is pretty good. Grossman is better though, and several of his characters are extremely intelligent.

That's impressive. I have read that it is an absolutely massive and extremely complex work.

Anyway, my brother has also been trying to get me to read "The Power Of Now" and "A New Earth", by Eckhart Tolle, to improve my attitude, but I haven't got around to them yet.

I rarely read anything anymore, but then again I wasn't much of a reader. I tend to read words such that came with writings of various semantics and syntax, namely pretty literature I found to be appealing to look at and comprehend. I do have as much a love for words in literature as that for lines in art, although my attention span isn't as long as I wish it could be to embrace fully the beauty of words. Much of this reading deficiency of mine is due to a combination of boredom and laziness. Anyway, at this point of adventures in reading, I follow manga dialogue bubbles and nutrition facts/ingredients labels. . .
