Instrumental.  It's Tenchi, so I put it in the Tenchi section, right?

>Sigh<  Whatever.  Just tell me whatcha think, if you're in the mood for critiquing a school project I dedicated to my favorite anime.

Oh, and sorry about the crappy sound quality.

I feel stupid, it took me forever to find it.  And then I noticed it was the really big thing on top :sotw:

It's not my favorite Tenchi song, not very familiar with it as opposed to the OAV songs, but it sounds like a fairly decent recreation.  2 instruments?  Play them both yourself?

A song, I think pilot 2.0 started playing, I know it's fairly simple in terms of chords, but I liked it.  Is Signet your band/performer name or something?

I'm liking Arabesque Terra as well.

Piano and electric violin are my two favorite instruments to listen to.

Erm... electric violin?  I'll admit that I've wanted to use one for a long time in my music, but I don't have one in anything I've done so far.

And, yes!  As a musician I go by the name "Signet", playing everything you hear because nobody ever want to help me.  :'(
Dimensions of love is... lemme see.  Three.  Piano, B3 (organ),  and drums.

Thanks for listening, Mudo!  I don't get a lot of appreciation, but I'll always keep doing this stuff 'cause it's my "air and food" so to speak.

I'm taking an electronic music class right now and am considering trying doing this Tenchi-verse song next:

One of my favorite electric violin is this cover of Muse's Resistance by Jason Yang, he does other good stuff:

and Sori1004jy's stuff.  She had an entire channel worth listening to, until the powers that be took it down for one song.  Since then, other people uploaded her stuff to keep it alive:

She definitely did at least one song you (collective) liked.  I like her Top Gun theme cover and her Barbie Girl by Aqua.

So is soundcloud the Deviantart of music?

It's not a favorite of mine, I like the song and how it goes soft in the middle.  When I think Washu, I tend to think Washu no Komori Uta aka Washu's lullaby.  But that's not electronica.

Do you know who made Washu's theme?  Is it Delerium?  (They made the OAV1 theme)  But it doesn't sound like them here.

"The DeviantArt of music"
.....yeah, you could call it that.  That's close enough to it, thought ShoudCloud doesn't have groups, if I remember correctly.

And I have no clue about the creators of the songs.  I can vouch for the exact same synthetic drum engine and keyboard sounds being used in Universe and in OVA 1 and 2.  With that in mind, I'd say it's likely.

I like Ifurita's theme:

First, that sounds a lot like "Washu's Heartache", from thre Tenchi OST...
Second, isn't Ifruita voiced by K.T. Vogt... who is the voice of Washu?

O_O

Good catch.

El-Hazard also was made by AIC, by TM!R OAV1 director Hiroko Hayashi, pretty much right after OAV... so I don't doubt they reused that.  They are practically sister series.

I never really paid attention to the dubs, so Idk.  Washu's VA is Kobayashi Yuko and Ifurita''s is Yuri Amano.  Yuri also did Kiyone in TU/TinT.

Pioneer of course had both series, so reusing VAs between the series was the norm as well.

Awww, MAN, the world of anime production is fraught with interconnectivity.  >_<

I found this song and really like it, it's not a relative of yours, is it?

Ohh, hah.  No, I've been asked about this particular recording before on a lucid dreaming forum and it's no-one I know of.
It's a nice song, though. :)
