Osaka Hananoko was a long-time Tenchi fan artist who passed away in September 2020. They had planned to hold the memorial this year but couldn't because of Corona, so it is being held in September 2022.

Coming back to this. It is a very somber wake up to us Tenchi fans, considering how quickly those years from the early nineties zipped by I wonder about anyone processing what's in store in that same span forward---if things like Covid just continue to dismantle the world economy and its now rarely hyped capabilities.
Anyway the point of this thread was to remember Hananoko. Known for not only Tenchi fanart, as I'm sure the memorial touched upon the elf doujin which I think style wise is very in line with mid 1990s anime series.
