On that topic,  does anyone have this book?

General Contents?  B/W or color?

For a "sketch book" by description, it's too expensive as listed with shipping by at least double, imo, but still would like to know.

I will buy it the day where it will have French subs.

BTW, I wonder if new viewers would hate as much Sakuya as the old fandom seemed did.

Tenchi and the word HATE don't even go together when it comes to the new viewers, literally. EVERYTHING that's hated on, from OVA 3 to Tenchi in Tokyo, its ALL from the older fans. The ratings on Myanimelist and AnimeNewsNetwork proves that. And I myself have recommended and made new Tenchi fans out of a number of people over the past few years now, and they watch the entire franchise with no issues.

Anyway, no Blu ray, no want.

I've noticed this as well. Over the past few months I've gotten a few people to watch the OVAs at least and they didn't complain one bit about OVA 3

I am probably an old fan since I hate many things in Tenchi Forever and Unverse. And I just discovers the series in 2009-2010.  :o

I'm pretty sure you haven't spent the past 10 years complaining about the same thing like a broken record, so you're good lol. Huge difference between not liking something, and trying to shove your dislike for something down others throats.

Its no secret that I don't have as much interest in stuff pertaining to outside of the OVA. But I still keep keep myself up to date with the other series so I can participate in discussions about it.

Depending on the quality I might buy it... Maybe when it drops to $25 or lower.

Sakuya isn't my favourite character, but I don't hate her. The term hate is thrown around a lot in anime and the Tenchi fandom, when it's as simple as... Okay, you don't like this series/character. You're not being forced to like/watch it. Instead of spending so much time absolutely bashing something you hate, talk about what you like and respect other's opinions. Idk. Sorry /rant

Will be interesting to see if these re-releases actually bring in a decent amount of new fans.
Plenty of trees on Jurai, and plenty of big juicy melons.

Eh, might give that boxset a pass.  I already have the last one that came out.  If there's nothing new or improved, I see little point in buying it again.

I've never had any problems with Sakuya.  Then again, I'm really not much of a shipper where TM in concerned, so...

For that price, I'd go for it. Did the original Muyo series get a region 1 release?

Smart-ass answer: Yes.  ;)

To what you're really asking: No, not yet.

Yes, a pricey boxset back around 1999 that's been out of print for ages.   ISTR there were individual volume releases as well.
