The return of the "What are you watching thread" since no one's started it for the new board yet...

Just finished Star Trek Voyager myself.  (And as a result, this is now my new favorite vid on all of YouTube:  www.youtube.com/watch?v=61fE9ScaGoo )

Not sure what to start next but I'll likely continue on my current live action American sci-fi classics kick.  Probably seaQuest DSV...

Non-anime related, currently watching True-Blood on HBO. Also plan on starting Breaking bad from the beginning since everyone and their mamas recommend it to me, and I see its pretty popular right now in the country.

Copious amounts of Friends, Regular Show, King of the Hill, and whatever else is on Cartoon Network from about 6 PM to bedtime.

TV bores me a lot honestly.
This is not a sig, it's a Sandwich.

I'm looking for good HBO/Showtime series to watch.

Other than that, The Inbetweeners.
Plenty of trees on Jurai, and plenty of big juicy melons.

A certain magical Index.
Denka! Kenshin-sama! Anata no kami no hogo o yokose!

Space Battlecruiser Yamato, Live-action.
Denka! Kenshin-sama! Anata no kami no hogo o yokose!

The Looney Tunes Show.  I liked it quite a lot.

Also Continuum, which is another of those shows heavily inspired by my concepts.

Resurrecting this shit yo!

Watching that Trailer Park Boys! Shit's good yo!
This has nothing to do with the post. You just kinda wasted your time reading this. Sorry.

I just watched Dredd on Netflix this morning and I was shocked how good it was because I read it flopped last year.  Now I'm sad that a trilogy was planned but they cancelled it on this one performance._.  I hope the triology would have focused on Judge Anderson rather than Judge Dredd.

And I only watched it because Netflix doesn't carry the Matrix on streaming.

The Crush with Alicia Silverstone.  It's an old movie but really romantic :D

Nothing, at the moment. I burned out on Stargate pretty fast, especially after my TV boyfriend Jack left the show, so I'm resting that for a bit.

I am, however, planning a rewatch of Shadow Raiders since the 15th anniversary is coming up. And I'd really like to do a chronological rewatch of the Peter Davison era of Doctor Who... he was my childhood Doctor and I've been getting really nostagic about that era lately for some reason.

Fallen into the glorious world of using Plex, a DLNA service that organizes all your media and constructs it into your own personal Netflix. This personal netflix is accessible to the entire network in your home, and both PCs and tablet/phones can access it. For the premium service which is 3 bucks a month, you can host this server online so friends across the Net can access your personal server. This thing can transcode MKV files flawlessly, as well as support subtitles and multiple audio files. Only issues I've come across is that custom font doesn't work, so you'll just see the generic white font. Old ass media formats like OGG don't work well either, but you shouldn't be using that bullshit anyway.

Here's the main menu that's pretty much your hub. On the left are libraries you put together and in the center has a number of sections like stuff you've recently added, as well shows you left off on, so just like netflix, you can resume from where you left off on any device.

Was adding the Tenchi Movies and other anime

Other than needing a program to host the server, when accessing the server from another machine, all you need is a web browser to navigate it.

Now here is where it gets sexy. When organizing your files, Plex uses TVDB info to match seasons and episodes together. Doing this results in a very uniformed look that adds thumbnail and background pics, as wells as valuable info like episode summary, cast and crew info and other tidbits. Just a very slick design.

The actual player is very simple, but does its job well.

All in all, if you are into DLNA support, this is definitely the program you've been looking for. To be able to simply play ALL of your media from all the external harddrives you have, put them together in one tight nit place and access them from multiple devices is ridiculously convenient. I'm currently using this for my laptop, my brother's laptop, and my phone. News just broke a few days ago that Xbox One is getting a Plex App, so that will make playing my stuff on the big screen so much easier.

Been watching Steven Universe.

A really cool show about alien girls living with a human dude who also turns out to have some alien heritage.

AND it has a really fucking annoying fandom!

Hmmmmmm. That reminds me of something...
