Questions to knowledgeable members for an important wiki revision

Hello.

A member of the VS Battles wiki is currently preparing a revision to greatly improve on our Tenchi Muyo profile pages, but needs answers to some questions in order to properly do so.

Help from this community would be extremely appreciated.

1) How many Dimensional Supervisors are there? We found an image that seems to show around 20 of them in two rows opposite to each other, but they were never explicitly named in the anime.

2) How much does a limiter reduce the power of a Juraian tree ship? It's said that even a limited 2nd generation ship can destroy a planet, and that a non-limited shot from a 3rd generation one can shorten the lifespan of a star through distortions, so are there any specifications about this?

3) Since the ships are often limited, is there any information regarding how strong a non-limited ship or tree is? The Tenchi Muyo wiki says that a non-limited one can destroy entire star systems, but where does this information come from? Also, does star system mean destroying a single solar system such as our own, or several in a single strike?

4) How is the Shrippis (Shank's best "anti-Juraian" ship in the 3rd True Tenchi Novel) able to produce Light Hawk Wings? Is it because of his reactor or the PKW system?

5) Ayeka said that using the LHWs offensively with her 2nd generation ship wasn't very effective, but 1st generation ships use them offensively. Is that the main difference between the two generations, or is there a specified considerable difference in scale of power or versatility? They can both produce 3 LHWs, so this is not entirely clear.

6) Is Ryo-Ohki (as a ship) stronger than the Choubimaru (instead of just faster) without using any of Washu's gems to enhance herself? Also, which GXP volumes does the Choubimaru appear in?

7) How strong are Seina's bad luck and Mihoshi's family's probability distorsion abilities respectively? They seem very powerful to be able to bypass Washu's inventions and interest the Galaxy Police.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Not researched answers

1. No idea. I remember Washu saying something about Tenchi (as he currently is) could be destroyed by beings from a higher dimension in a GP novel.

2 & 3 & 5. Not sure. There's a little in the "101 Secrets" article/ book - https://tenchimuyotranslationblog.blogspot.com/p/101-tenchi-questions.html
It says they get they get their power from the subspace they create. Seto also talks about it a little in 12.2 https://tenchimuyotranslationblog.blogspot.com/2019/12/gxp-12-chapter-2.html

4. It is odd. Probably a mystery still. In the TT Washu novel, when she and Naja are looking into ways for a way to break into Seniwa and they "accidentally" get access to Juraian secrets, she and Naja see a recording of the attack and there is a beam that she can see that Naja can't. So it's  probably a godly power. The Daidalosships run on a poor copy of Washu's crystals that Washu calls trash- but they power those ships, and they are some of the most fearsome.

6. IIRC (can't check night now) that profiles doujin 17.12 talks about it a little in either the Fuku page or Ryo-Ohki page. The ship with Berserker Ryoko (and her two gems)  but no Ryo-Ohki the cabbit, was what ran through The Choubimaru. Not at full power. the Fuku page just says that Fuku, by herself, is stronger than Ryo-Ohki without the gems.

7. I think there are several mentions of of Seina's probability bias being way more powerful than the Kurumatsu's (along the lines of "it's like Mitoto and Mihoshi") and will get stronger as he ages. the Tennan's also have a bias, as did Widow. Never well explained though.

1) no one knows

2) enough that their beam only slightly burns a crater into the lot next to yours source:ova 1 ep 2 without the limiter I assume planet go bye bye.

3. The limiter. Is the wooden shell. And we see them without the shell all the time . But no clue

4.the shippris had the plw system which used a bootleg washu gem as a powersource.

5. The chobimaru was built to use the pkw wave. This is mentioned in the live action ova 3 plus extra. Again no answer to this because in battle it was defeated... In the end the ryoohki has the advantage as a smaller ship I think it was 9 the one I was making the visual novel fan game for. It's when fuku runs away.
7. The best.

Thanks a lot for the replies. We greatly appreciate it.

So do either of you know where the solar system-destroying level of power for Jurai ships statement comes from?

It seems like planet-destroying ships are not considered as anything special by galactic civilisation standards, whereas the 1st and 2nd  generation tree ships completely transcend them in terms of raw power.

We preferably need some specifications regarding the scale of power for Light Hawk Wing users for their profile pages.

It was stated in the GXP anime that Fuku on her own contained power comparable to a small universe, but we do not know exactly what that means, as Washu created an extremely small universe as a laboratory experiment for example; and we also know that more than 10 LHWs would automatically destroy all 3-dimensional space if they manifested in the same place.

What are your evaluations of this?

I think a lot is pieced out in the chapters about Mizuki being chosen and readied for Kiriko.
It's just not clear what the "power" is.

Like here's a section from Eff's translation about puting Mizuki into a container for her core:

It's just not clear what the "power" is. But what ever it is, it's in subspace, presumably just from the godly power Tsunami granted the trees, passed on from generation to generation.

Like here's a section from Eff's translation about puting Mizuki into a container for her core:
GXP 11.6 about 3/4 down.

QuoteThis was a different kind of space where the roots of the royal trees stretched to absorb energy. The force field circuit diagram launched in front of them kept it fixed and it suppressed the outflow of energy to the outside. If suppressed the energy out only glowed faintly but if it leaked out, the energy was enough to destroy a one hundred light year radius around Jurai.

Thank you for the help. That is very useful.

Also, from what I recall, there was an in-continuity OVA audio drama in which Washu built a machine that created customised realities depending on the wishes of whoever used it. This audio drama was later used as a basis for the Tenchi Universe episodes with the same plot.

Do I remember correctly, and if so, do any of you remember what the audio drama was called?

No idea, vas. Did you update the VSB Fandom page with the above list? I would like to see it.

Personally, not familiar with the audio dramas. I was only recently reminded about the es  OVA 3.

Well, YuriAkuto is in the process of improving the Tenchi Muyo character profile pages in the wiki, but some of them are still inaccurate. He will read the English True Tenchi novels after Christmas, and fix the remaining problems afterwards,

I just stumbled on one of the big references.
Looking for something else, I was reading the "Seto and Airi" chapter in the Yosho Novel. Page 160 in the paperback.

(Seto) "Heh, they don't like combat. And we don't want to make them fight, as much as we can. But Funaho, a First Generation Tree, can destroy an entire country on her own."
(Airi)"How is that possible?!"
(Seto)"Calculating back from the power of each generation, Tsunami is tremendously powerful. It would be easy to destroy the entire galaxy. A god indeed."

Notes:
"A country" would probably refer to a "state" or empire. It's saying it could destroy something like Seniwa.
In saying it "can destroy" may not mean with a single blast of power. Probably just saying it would be so dominate that it could take on such a battle single-handedly.

Okay. Thank you for the information.

Feel free to talk with YuriAkuto directly via the Fandom wikis to help him out if you wish. It would be appreciated.
