Some time ago, it occurred to me that with current technology, it is possible to get reasonable voice imitations of the seiyuu performing their parts.

Last time I looked into it, you needed about 45 minutes of voice samples.  So Tenchi Masaki and Sasami shouldn't be a problem, but Tsunami probably would, even with the Pretty Sammy OAV.  PS TV was never dubbed.

But it's very possible those requirements have been lowered, or will be in the future.

Either way, it'll be a lot of work to cut voice samples from the all the episodes up and splice together... unless there's an AI tool to do that too.  Which wouldn't surprise me.

It's all just gonna get insanely easier as the years pass though.
