Hey I'm going to go ahead and process the pretty Sammy novels into decent machine translations. I have a much more advanced method now. its going to be totally readable unlike the kind your used do. it just might have a few errors here and there cause I'm not going over the output cause frankly I'm not to interested. if anyone wants to edit them up do so and send me the edits and I'll post em.

So far 4 volumes are done. the last 3 and volume 2.  spoilers sasami and misao were lesbos for each other the entire time.

I will eventually get to reading them and I'll edit them into proper translations but as they are, they are petty readable it isnt like the old days.

Thanks to new tech advances and finding a fresh scan of the novel, I have been able to speed release a new machine translated version of the War on geminar novel.  This is not either of the two prior releases which relied on a bad ocr we had at one time. this is a fresh one. you probably can barely tell its machine because of how its done. It likely needs only ever very light editing to fix up to the level of a pro translation but I am unwilling to do that at this point since I am working on Slayers Smash and Special. I can say I may do the same for the other tenchi novels / the pretty sammy novels later this or next month.


If someone is willing to put out the cash and also endure the uhm awkward illustrations I can do the Photon novels. I had them once, I threw them out because I lacked a good means to translate. I just need scans so you'd have to cut the books apart. I don't want the illustrations and wont be using them.

One of the ways I make this a less needed effort machine translation is by telling the translation process to put the Japanese names of everything in brackets next to the translation  So you'll notice that.

Ooh, sounds fun. Share the names of those games and I might have a look at them myself.

I've played 2 Korean ones, Five Hearts Under One Roof and Don't Fool Me, Beauties. Both are developed by the company Storytaco. Storytaco is having a sale on Steam from February 13th to the 20th, so these games should be a decent price.

The other 3 I've played are all Chinese. Love is All Around, Knowledge, Or Know Lady, and Heartbeat in Thailand.

My rankings for them are:

• Don't Fool Me, Beauties
• Knowledge, OR Know Lady
• Heartbeat in Thailand
• Five Hearts Under One Roof
• Love is All Around

Hey everyone I've been on a binge lately and am now set to translate the slayers special and slayers smash series. I also recently published the Xenosaga novel's translation.

I've fallen down a weird rabbithole of Asian FMV romance games. I bought one on a whim during the steam winter sale because I'd seen it talked about online, and now I'm in the middle of playing my 5th one.

Ooh, sounds fun. Share the names of those games and I might have a look at them myself.

Apparently there is supposed to be another storm next week.

Please, no more winter. This one was unusually bad. I just want spring to come already.
