Title: How many dimensions does the reality created by the Choushin have?
Post by: antvasima on October 19, 2014, 02:07:39 AM
As we all probably know, D3 rules over 3-dimensional space, with the higher Ds ruling over higher dimensional spaces. D8 rules over 8-dimensional space and so onwards.

The reason for my confusion lies in this image: http://img2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20140818125935/tenchi/images/6/62/The_22_Dimensional_Supervisors.jpg

Here we seem to be shown 22 dimensional supervisors, which taken on its own makes 22 dimensions correct?

However, complicating the issue is that I vaguely remember D3 originally shown at the bottom of this image. I.e. that only part of it is shown. Which would make 22 Dimensional Supervisors above and in addition to D3, making 25 dimensions in sum total. This would also fit closer to the scientific theory that there are at most 26 dimensions in real life (another theoretical model says 10-11, but I digress).

Thank you for any help, especially if you could find the full image.

I'm gonna take a guess and say 10 and that the ones you see on the opposite side are mirror dimensions. Remember that Kaji established the alternate mirror dimensions with Dual which is mirroring the 3rd.

That same scene you posted the pic from, right after that when Tenchi breaks his mortal shell and starts to materialize in deity form, That was D3-D10 alerting the dimensional cracks.

You know in theory, this would explain why the max number of LHWs allowed in a dimension is 10 at a time.

Well, a multiverse is only 5-dimensional, which would account for all the parallel universes, including Dual, and just because we only saw 10 supervisors in a later scene doesn't invalidate that we saw more of them earlier, so the 22 supervisors seem legit.

What I am wondering is, does anybody else than me remember if D3 was also part of that image, in addition to the other supervisors?

That is D3 that's highlighted in that image. You can't see it in that still picture, but D3 is moving during this scene, then they zoom in on him to this

Aha. So there is D3 plus the other 22 supervisors in that scene then?

Thank you for the help. :)

Hmm. I discovered that D3 seems to be the 3rd face on the right side, as you tried to explain to me and I misunderstood. So there were 22 Dimensional Stewards in sum total from D1 to D22 after all. My bad. Sorry.

Yea when Tenchi started to emerge he was kinda just erasing stuff on the move. He destroyed a good piece of the universe that the goddesses had to fix.
