I find it sad that the series seems to be wrapping up.   I really liked it and its sympathetic cast of characters a lot.   And it is the head goddess named after me who is doing the wrap-up (while doing an allegory for the conceptual disagreement that I have going on, in the rivalry between her and Hild).  I feel guilty somehow, even though I cannot put my finger on it.  :'(

I am glad that finish because I was not impress by the last volumes I read in French (btw, it have 40 volumes translated in French just to gives you an indication). Thought maybe after it is less, volume 40 was a bit better.

Anyway, that not my favorite manga/anime (I like some stories and others stories bored) but I do like the character. In fact, that one of the multiple series I read/watch just because I like some characters. I like Belldandy x Keiichi but a harem would be better. Okay, maybe a sound like a pervert but that my fault ! The others girls are always teasing Keiichi ! Hey author from Ah My Goddess, if you just want do Belldandy x Keiichi stop making girls love Keiichi that annoying.  >:(

Btw, Ant...huh...I don't think that possible people in Japan know you...Maybe you have a bit too imagination and you should stop if that make you sad.

Well, Belldandy's mother is called Anzasu, and the preceding story did seem to point fingers in my direction.  But I have turned paranoid from being harrassed by other (enormously nastier than the kind-hearted Fujishima) professional creators.

Well, I dislike the archetype personality that she is a part of on a conceptual level.  The AMG creator caught on to that when I wrote my story, it wasn't really about me.  It was more about an coneptual entity that is almost my complete opposite.  A yin and yang, anima and animus, eternal opposition kind of thing.

It's official.  :shepicide:

QuoteThe May issue of Kodansha's Monthly Afternoon magazine is announcing on Monday that Kousuke Fujishima is ending his Aa Megami-sama (Ah! My Goddess/Oh My Goddess!) manga in the following issue on April 25. The June issue will also have a "super-important announcement."

The May issue is further announcing that the 48th and final manga volume will have a 5,000-yen (about US$50) deluxe Limited-Edition Final Box on July 23.
"Growing up leads to growing old and then to dying, and dying to me don't sound like all that much fun."

Thank god that finally end. I hope the ending will be good.

I heard the news as well. I'm sad about it, even though it was expected. AMG was a kind, beautiful, and positive series. Something extremely uncommon in these days of gorn, filth, bile, amorality, social-Darwinism, and cosmic horror. I will miss it, and hope that the promised announcement will either be an anime series or a spinoff.
