Where do you get these better pics? Was this sequence put into it's own product before the Mihoshi Special?
I did a few little fixes and tried to get the colors closer to this, is it better than the old one? Which is better?

I like the black lined version best. The colors really come out in that one somehow.

A fullsize copy included with "Soundfile", which the Japanese blurays also include as an extra. I assume AIC originally created it was a proof of concept, because in the beginning it does have a very short title screen. And unlike the rest of Soundfile was entirely made of new footage. Another nice thing about Soundfile is that it included a creditless copy of the OVA1 credits.

That whole sequence is Sasami's fantasy, not from the male perspective, as seen from the first 8 seconds (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=opWr7flwRGo&t=24m10s). Oh what a world we'd live in if a little girl wasn't allowed to dream of kissing her prince.
Considering the camera moved out before contact, it's a very classy sequence.
