You guys think MK ever looks at Tenchi fandom, fanart, fandoujins, fanfiction?

I don't know if Japan has a fanfiction community like the West does.

But the fanart can be pretty good.  I know a few Japanese people on DA.

probably stuff on the JP side I'm sure. As for any other country I wanna say no.

Japan's fanfiction community = doujinshi artists
Doujinshi = fanfics
Back then, they didn't draw it. They just wrote.

I've always taken the clue that fanfiction is more popular in the west nowadays....

But if you were a Japanese chick Jibs, 9 times out of 10 you'd be drawing a Harry Potter doujin comic compared to writing one...
