Right now Steam has all 3 Falcom-XSEED approved titles on sale, 50% off each. As I've said it the past, Falcom titles are some of my favorites titles of all time and at less than 10 bucks a pop, you simply cannot go wrong. Just wish they'd get the PC/Steam rights to more Falcom titles, like Legend of Heroes and the latest Ys titles...cause I'm not buying a Vita just for Ys.

Not too long ago I learned XSEED has picked up the license for Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky, First Chapter and Second Chapter for Steam and will be releasing Second Chapter over PSN for PSP too. So those like myself, whom played it on PSP can resume our quest right were we left off. Nice.

The Steam copy of First Chapter is scheduled to be released sometime this winter and Second Chapter will release on Steam/PSN sometime in 2014.

I played through FC on my PSP and loved it. If you're not familiar, it's a pretty solid JRPG, with tons and I mean tons of dialog. But at no point did I feel bored or overwhelmed. I actually found it to be very interesting, as there are anime elements throughout the story not used in your average JRPG. For example, you must attend a school festival and take part in a play in drag. I cannot recall ever doing that in another JRPG. And yes, the twin tails imouto is a tsundere. Doesn't get more anime that that, amirite?

Steam winter sale has started and Metal Gear Rising has appeared.
