We have a thread for games we are currently playing, but don't really have a thread for games that are coming soon that interest us. So here's a thread we can use to track future games that might get missed on the Radar. Post some future games that interest you, maybe we can give each other new games to add to the wishlist.

To start off, since Action RPGs is my favorite genre, here is a video with most of the upcoming arpgs coming out

Specific games catching my interest.

X - Release Date: TBA 2014
Or as many go by Wii U Xen oblade. Mentioned before how this is the system seller, the game that makes me want to get the Wii U. And after playing Xenoblade on Wii, definitely looking forward to this game. Also really digging the mech stuff going on in the trailer

Bound By Flame - Release Date: May 9, 2014

I really wanted a good hack and slash RPG to play on my Xbone, so I was pretty bummed to find out PS4 is getting a next gen version, but Xbone ain't. Luckily, its coming out on 360, so I might grab it there. Some new gameplay videos have come out. Does look a lil janky, but I can work with it. Really getting Kingdom of Amalur vibes from it

Lords of the Fallen - Release Date: TBA 2014
Well here is my Next gen Dark Souls fix. Really digging this one as well, and most importantly, its next gen.

The Witcher 3 - Release Date: February 2015

REALLY really bummed about this being delayed all the way back to 2015, but I guess if they need more time to make it perfect, go ahead. Still have to finish Witcher 2, but really looking forward to this one. Projekt Red really has been hyping the hell out of this too, saying that 2 areas in this game will be 3.5 times bigger than Skyrim's entire map.

QuoteWhat happens when you create a Dragonball Z game with MUGEN which is quite similar to Capcom fighters from the 1990s?

The answer comes in a ridiculously hype trailer with a ton of fan service.

Team Z2 is the group behind this project, and they've done an exceptional job recreating parts of the franchise in a style that 2D sprite fighting game fans should absolutely love.

The team currently has 5 characters and 11 stages available for fans to check out, and you can find their excellent trailer after the jump. Even if you're not a Dragonball Z fan, you should watch this, as the work they put into this trailer really shines through in its 5 minute run time.

I'm currently waiting for the following games to come out...

-Super Smash Bros for Wii U
-Super Smash Bros for 3DS
-Ultra Street Fighter 4 (PS3)
-X (Wii U)
-Tomodachi Life (3DS)

Most of the games on this list are self explanitory, but one may need some explanation.  Tomodachi Life is the recently announced international version of Tomodachi Collection - Shin Seikatsu ("Shin Seikatsu" translates to "New Life"), which was originally released in Japan on April 18, 2013.  They just announced the international release this morning, and it's basically a Sims type game with Miis.

Now if only I could remember where I put the 3DS Mii codes that I had with most of the Tenchi Muyo OVA, GXP, and Isekai cast that I found online shortly after the system's release...  :emot-chio:
"I believe classic Mewtwo shot first, and I will die on that hill." -Me, at some point. Probably.

Sunset Overdrive - Release Date: 2014
Platform: Xbox One

https://www.youtube.com/v/FqJdZQPBDF0

From the little we know, the plot for this Xbox One exclusive is about a company releasing this energy drink called OVERCHARGE that has mutated a big part of the population into these orange monsters. The ones that didn't get infected have gained superhuman type powerups and use them to fight the monsters. This title has been known since last year's E3, but info is finally start to come in. Done by Insomniac Games (Spyro, Ratchet and Clank), this 3rd person open world shooter is getting a lot of hype. Quote from someone who has played the game:

QuoteWe visited Insomniac HQ in Burbank, California to be the first media in the world to play Sunset Overdrive as the studio explained how it intends to put the fun back into shooters – the game brings to mind Tony Hawk, Jet Set Radio, Crazy Taxi, Prince Of Persia and the blue skies and bright colours of the Dreamcast era.

BLACK DESSERT - TBA
Platform: Microsoft Windows

From Wikipedia:

Black Desert (Korean: 검은사막) is an upcoming sandbox-oriented massively multiplayer online role-playing game by Korean video game developer Pearl Abyss. The game has been in development since 2010, and entered closed beta testing (CBT) in October 2013. The game uses Pearl Abyss' own "Black Desert" engine specifically created to handle the fast rendering required for its seamless world and large-scale castle sieges. Black Desert uses a free-to-play model although no further details of the business model or revenue generation have been announced. It will initially be released on the Microsoft Windows platform, and Jaemin Youn, Pearl Abyss' Chief Operations Officer, has announced that the developer has begun talks with Sony Computer Entertainment regarding a version for the PlayStation 4.

It's catching people's attention for two reasons, first being the combat. Being described as a MMO version of Dragon's Dogma, this immediately caught my attention since DD is probably my favorite game of the 7th Generation. So I decided to take a look. And I am definitely impressed.

The second and probably biggest thing getting attention is the RIDICULOUSLY detailed character creation system. I'll let the videos speak for themselves.

Looks like you'll be able to do other stuff to like farm and have Jobs.

https://www.youtube.com/v/akPhBNktf5I

As the case with Phantasy Star Online 2, this looks like its gonna be exclusive to the east. Luckily, just like PSO 2 as well, we'll probably have fan translation support so everyone around the world can enjoy this very good looking game with potential. Note to Capcom, take notes. I better see a lot of this stuff in Dragons Dogma 2.
