According to this page there is. Agga Ruter takes place 500 years before Tenchi. The Shank Pirate Guild is the same guild and Zero was built from Zero Technology, the same tech Kei, the ship & those fake tits are made from.

Thou not mentioned there, I would wager the same tech used to create Janis's shape shifting ancestors is the same tech used on Ryoko Balta. And if my theory is correct, that the same tech is responsible for all of the supernatural beings in earth's history.

I always thought that Kei was a previous incarnation of Zero. I think that it was even mentioned that Zero was in Agga Ruter.
