This, from what I can tell. The circle markers are also used for the printed guide, so I would imagine they have to pay an additional fee to change it. Plus those are Ryoko's old ears, for consistency I'm sure he would have updated that feature, if it were a new creation. That said, the icon does look similar to a piece you PMed me some months ago.

I think it's like this, although to be honest, I think only Karen (red) is a dead match. Without her, I wouldn't have guessed they are the Seto Scouts at all. I switched position of the green because while on the left is a closer match to her hairstyle, she has long hair, and I think in anime, one rule is you don't mess with hair lenght of an established character (but Noike broke this rule and had to be spanked by Tenchi for it).

The people on the front cover are directly involved to Tenchi in the plot compared to people on the back who either weren't as important to his life of seen as a threat of some kind. Reia was part of the 10 year long mother mystery saga.

IF you do, you could try to start a translation project on baka-tsuki (http://www.baka-tsuki.org/). I believe the minimum required to get a project listed is a single chapter translated & proof that you've got at least one translator. Then maybe if you're lucky someone else will show some interest & translate some of it or at least provide you with proofreading edits.
Anyway I'm starting to think we won't get anything Anime related that directly has to do with Tenchi till the 25th Anniversary. Paradise War should be the next thing we see after that who knows.

Well, it is important to remember Comiket does have a no picture policy inside the buildings. And IF anime has taught me anything, they even broadcast this over the PA system, throughout the event. So feigning ignorance goes out the window... or at least they did in Yukikaze spinoff Rescue Me Mave-chan.
The guy I've been getting my Comiket issues from, last time what I asked him was and I quote "Could you ask the guy selling them if he is Kajishima Masaki? If he is, could you get him to autograph one of the doujins and get a second copy without his autograph?" To which he said he could do that, as Saturday was not as busy as his other days there. Then when he got back from Comiket he had a copy of each signed for me. I didn't ask if it was Kaji at the booth, but since both are signed & dated 2013.8, I think it is safe to assume Kaji signed them right there. I haven't asked him if Kaji was in fact there because he is very backlogged with C84 orders and I hate being a pain in the ass. Dude has enough whinny brats wanting status updates & shit without me adding to the confusion. In fact he actually advanced me my goods & hasn't even finished up figuring what I still owe him. Dude is that cool & that backed up. When he finally contacts me with what I still owe him, I'll probably ask for more details then. The only reason I even asked him about getting a doujin signed this time was because there were a couple guys on twitter posting pictures of Tenchi related goods with his signature on them after last year's Winter Comiket. I took that as a pretty good hint that the illusive man actually mans his own booth, as he would have back when he released his very first doujin.
Also I believe his old Q&A site was actually run by a friend, til the domain expired. What the man should do is get on facebook. I really don't like facebook, but it wouldn't cost him shit to run, would allow him more direct access to the fans and he could include full Q&A articles under "notes". For someone like Kaji, I think that'd be a very good match. Or at least a better match than twitter. Last thing we want is for Kaji to become a twitter addict on par with Miura's idolm@ster addiction.

Also, since it's a Kajishima book, there might be some weird terms within it which I can correct accordingly as the people I know aren't familiar with Tenchi specific stuff.

I have a friend who was going to Comiket 84. I asked if he could get me the new Kajishima doujins. Unfortunately, due to a family emergency day 1 of C84, he got back to late to procure the items sometime near the end of C84.

While clearly the Tenchi franchise is still going strong in Japan, there are Japanese haters too, though how many, I couldn't say. I do remember back when
OVA 3, episode 4 came out, someone reported on how unhappy some Japanese fans were, which I understood since episode 3 set up this awesome battle, then episode 4 said, "Its done, but we'll look back and show you what Sasami did after the fact."
Still, I'm sure Akamatsu-sensei took some heat for how
Negima! ended, but he's still on Twitter.

Akamatsu-sensei has one too, though he hasn't updated it in quite some time.
So now that the Keiji kickstarter is already at 700,000, makes me dream some more on the future possibly Kaji kickstarted episode. Giving him 150 thousand, we could have him make like Night Before the Carnival part 2 or something. LWA is using the kickstarter money to make a 40 minute movie.

Ayeka made herself useful by teaching Kenshi tailoring and even shoe making.
Kenshi's dad taught him woodwork and architecture, so that he would always be able to make a home anywhere.
And of course there are also some crazy knowledge that family members teach him, that may or may not come in handy... Rea was unsure if that was really a good idea.
Now for combat!
Goes without saying, the GREATEST swordsman in the galaxy, Katsuhito, taught him the family secret Jurai swordsmanship style.
That not all! Mihoshi got him fully trained in Galactic Police CQC as well as marksmanship. (Don't laugh, Mihoshi might shoot haphazardly, but she rarely miss.)
Ryoko of course instructed him in the Pirate-style of combat, while Sasami taught him staff combat."

Sena Yamada and Mihoshi specialise in the unexpected!
They have skill that can't be taught the normal way. When ever Kenshi hanged around either of them, unexpected, impossible things happen. This ended up being a kind of training in itself, as Kenshi obtained laser sharp focus and is always prepared for the unexpected.
Sena sort of protested, said it is too much to train this boy to do this task. But destiny's destiny.

Err... this post answers that question. The boy is taken care of, but at no point was his life easy. He is being trained to be a super soldier remember, the only thing different is that his instructors are his loving family members. You can call his lifestyle a lot of things, but "easy" isn't one of them.

Looks right on que to typical Tench-man IMO. You have to remember that Tenchi is what, 20 or 21 during this Kenshi growing up phase. Yea he's his big brother but he's also still a relatively young guy. So the whole Ben Kenobi role probably doesn't fit his style, and I'd bet Yosho prefers to keep that spot for now. Not just that, but its not much Tenchi could teach him. Yosho is much more suited to train Kenshi, cause he has actual skills that can be learned.
At this point, the best Tenchi can say is something like....
"Close your eyes, take a deep breath, and blow up Saturn with your mind".

Finally got word of what I still owed for my latest mass of imported goods and I asked my source for more details about the signatures. This is is what he had to say, "...and I saw the artist sign both books. He was definitely there, but it didn't seem like he talked directly to any fans".
So there you have it, Kajishima is now 100% confirmed for attending Comiket. However, it would appear someone else mans his tables and he just kicks back, enjoying the chaos that is Comiket.
