The comments EFF made in some of the GXP novels got me thinking that I would really like to translate all of them to see just what was missing.
I actually started GXP 1 last summer, but real life thangs kept intruding and I just couldn't get a good start.
About a month before the GXP 18 announcement hit the street, I discovered that both DeepL and Google Translate have gotten a lot better. Still can't figure out pronouns and some Japanese slang, but not bad.
I uploaded the complete translation of GXP 1 to Eff yesterday. I'm about 40% into GXP 2, which is now on hold for 18.
If you decide to read GXP 1, shoot me any problems you find. I've been through it about 4 times and am pretty happy with it, but there's always something wrong.

I have to admit, these add some new facets that I did not notice before. I need to make notes about when certain things need to be cleaned up but other than that it is great.
Just uploaded GXP5 to Eff this morning.
There's a lot of neat stuff in this one. I wonder if Kajishima will resolve any of them?!
I'm going to start on GXP 6, but I don't expect to finish it until after the new year. The holiday season is more than a bit hectic around here.
