"wait," said Z, "can somebody fill me in on the contract between them?"

[HotelKatz]

"Keiichi and Bell cancelled their first contract a little while ago to defeat a demon named Hagal. Keiichi and Bell then made a new contract that joined them together, kinda like a marriage, provided that he face any challenge. If he fails to face the challenge, then neither Bell nor Keiichi can contact each other." Urd said.

"I do have to ask. Have you sent Keiichi a nightmare or two about his friends, Tamiya and Otaki, offering a stupidly insane challenge to him, Keiichi refuses it, and then Belldandy having to leave Keiichi forever because Keiichi did not face a challenge that was put in front of him?" Malek asked Hild.

"Hmm...Hard to keep track of it all.  I'm trying to remember."

[HotelKatz]

"If you haven't, it'd be something fun to do. Heck, one can even reason it as a lesson to teach Keiichi the downsides of a deal that sounds romantic and brave on paper." Malek said.

[paladin313]

"Now that WOULD be fun...watching him squirm..."

[HotelKatz]

"Yes, but I'd advise giving Keiichi the dreams over a slow period of time, so as to hide our efforts from the goddesses and watching him squirm longer around his two friends." Malek said. He pondered a bit before saying, "If we do it for the reason of warning Keiichi and no other reason, the System Force would actually help us. That'd really stick in  some of Heaven's technicians' craws. "

"Causing chaos in heaven?   hehehehe....Chrono would pull pwetty, white hair wright out of her pwecious wittle head...."

[HotelKatz]

"I think the dream scheme is worth the effort, especially for the entertainment value. Shall I prepare a dream for Morisato?" Malek asked.

[paladin313]

"Oh absolutely...and right before the big race?  How delicious!"

[HotelKatz]

"I'll go get one dream prepared for the night." Malek said, before teleporting away.

[paladin313]

She sat there pondering this, and thought, "Pressure from Proter, and now the dreams...Keiichi, you were once a precious commodity to me before Bell showed up and snuffed out the star of misfortune.  You were a glutton for punishment that kept coming back for more and built my shares.  I WILL get you back!  All I have to do is turn you coward once, and then you are all mine!"
     When that new contract was made, maintaining it became greater, though the dividends were higher for Kei.  Yet, now, he had more to lose.  She was going to test that mettle now.

[Trace Carter]

"I see," said Z to urd, "sounds like something mom would want to mess with."

[HotelKatz]

"Yeah, the question is how she'll do it." Urd said. "I suggest being careful on how you help us. If you help us to the point where you're actually going against Hild's will, She'll probably demote you down to a fourth-class demon and force you to return to Hell."

(I'm assuming there's more than first and second class licenses for both Heaven and Hell. Also, I'm going to bed.)

Z shrugged, "If it's mom's plan, you're on your own.  I don't want her mad at me."

[HotelKatz]

Urd nodded.

"I'm glad you're honest about it." Urd said
