Z stopped by the Temple to see if he could participate in training.  Malek, Hild-Prime, and Debrek were busy, and Chibi-Hild said it was ok.

By this point, Lind had already arrived, and she thundered, "HE DID WHAT!"

Z winced

"It wasn't like he asked me to slay my first-born!"
"That's not the point!" she snapped, "No matter the small price, with them, there is always strings attached!  Even if you were ready to know your gift, it is too soon for you to be messing with it!  I would have rathered you learned in a far more controlled environment.  *sigh* This is why it is dangerous to cut deals with demons.  It is their nature to cause mischief, even if good intentions are meant!  They are always loose with rules and feel they can do what they want when they want, and though he meant no harm, because it is his nature not to see the long road of action because of how they are, there is always strings attached.  If it was a malicious demon, it is 100 times worse.  I am warning you now, you have to remember: we can be friendly with them, but they are indeed the enemy, always!  They always seek to cause trouble for heaven whether they like it or not!"
Fear is ignorance expressed through panic.

"maybe it was a bad Idea to come here," sighed Z

"He's a friend," he protested, "One of the few I ever had..."
"He is half demon!" she said, "Demons always try to paint a good picture of themselves, but ultimately, they always think for themselves, and how they can gain from anything.  You can't completely trust them, period!"
Fear is ignorance expressed through panic.

"Z was starting to get offended by this.

"I have no choice," she said, "I'm going to have to lock off your memory of your gifts until you are ready to handle them."

(Cue Z)
Fear is ignorance expressed through panic.

"am I interrupting?" Z asked as he walked in with a miffed look on his face.

"WHAT WERE YOU THINKING!" she yelled, "What in the world were you thinking?  He's just barely learned anything about this world.  What you did...  That's like leaving a three year-old child with a pistol unsupervised, with his friends!"
Fear is ignorance expressed through panic.

"sorry?" said Z

"Leave my charges alone!" she said, "You are not to teach magic, cut deals, or do anything that might tie him into the demon realm, got it?  Ever since Hild's first play on him to turn him, I've been leery of your side!  I am sure she hasn't given up on that!"
Fear is ignorance expressed through panic.

"Fine," said Z, "next time I want to help, I won't,"

Lind was taking a protective stance is is wont for Valkyrie to do.  Being a Valkyrie, she had little trust for demons from the start, and she was given charge by Tyr/Odin himself to watch over the boy--something she was not going to take lightly.

(You understand the bias he's going to have to face, right.  It's just in the nature of what he is, and the bad rep too many demons had given their kind.)

(I know.)
Z backed up a bit, he might be able to take chrono if he tried and was unsealed, but One winged Lind of the fighting wings woould win without breaking a sweat
