The pace car pulled away, and Proter tore off, he wanted that pole position, and because he could now read the car so well, they were almost one unit.  However, he was also aware that the other cars were complaining that there were some strange people messing with all the cars the night before, yet, his own car told him it was a device added by a demon to enhance all the cars--except for Keiichi's--which would be cheating, and he wanted this to be an honest race.  He wanted to win straight up.

Many of the team was watching the second race, trying to get a feel for the other drivers.

Z began to mark the rest of the clothes he brought for the race so he could use the spell on them.

The race went on, and Proter was dominating with some of the other young talent dominating NASCAR as of recent years.  Yet, Proter was making them earn their supper.  Then, somewhere in the middle, Proter ducked into the pits and took a splash of fuel.  The pit took all of eight seconds, and he tore off again, causing many to scratch their heads.  He was a half lap behind now.  Everyone was wondering what he was doing.  Yet, some of the lead drivers opened throttle and tried to gain more on him and the others.
