"Fortunately, no," she answered, "They were both so tired from their day they were both dead to the world."

Z chuckled.

(We can jump to the morning, then.)

By the morning, they had flopped into each other's arms instinctively, going back to some primal thing of primates or something like that, the natural instinct of wanting to feel the security of another around.

[Trace Carter]

(I know.  He posts when he posts.  It will be all three of us on this one.)

[Auir]

Skuld was clinging onto Sentaro like a Koala on a tree. She stirred a bit and her eyes peeked open a little. There was a scream and a very loud smack in the next few moments.

Sentaro, (who was still asleep,) made a combination of moans, snorts, attempts to make rational speech, and much flailing, as he eventually wound up on his butt on the floor.  If there had been any romantic overtones in his heart that second, it was as if someone dumped a bucket of ice water on him.  Gaining his faculties, (and feeling the sting on his face,) snapped, "Who, what, where!  What was that!"

Skuld was sitting on the bed, gripping the bedsheets tightly to cover herself staring at him with the look of a girl being jumped by hoodlums in a dark alley.

"Hey, what's wrong with you!" he said, beginning to get the feel she was the reason for why his face was now red and stinging.

[Auir]

"You scared me!" she cried.

[paladin313]

"Sssscared you?" he said, "Now how did I do that?" being that he was deep asleep, and unaware of how the two were clinging to each other."

[Auir]

"Well, when I woke up. I saw this guy right next to me as if he was leaning in for a kiss. I panicked and well..."

[paladin313]

"But, it was me!" he said, "Would I hurt you?  And...  Besides...  What would be wrong about me kissing you?"

[Auir]

"I didn't know, that's why I panicked! Wouldn't you panick if you saw some random stranger so close to you, leaning in for a kiss?"

[paladin313]

"But who else was in here but us?" he asked, "We must have snuggled up in the night."
