[Trace Carter]

"We find the source of the ring," said Z

[paladin313]

She nodded, but was distracted with trying to contact Skuld.  However, Hild said, "We'd better get moving before the shadows start asking questions."

[Trace Carter]

"I wouldn't want that," said Z with a shiver.

[paladin313]

With that, the horde started on their way.

[Trace Carter]

"Any idea what we're looking for?"

[paladin313]

"With us cut off from Skuld, there's no telling," said Urd.

Chrono was trying to keep in contact with Skuld, saying, "Keep trying: we have to reestablish the link.  I'd never forgive myself if we lost my baby...  Uh...  I mean, Ian...  Er, I mean, everyone is in danger."

[Trace Carter]

Z looked around the desolate realm.

[Auir]

"Riiight. Anyway, the signal strength isn't strong enough. We need some way to boost it..."

[paladin313]

"Is Ian's laptop still there?" asked Chrono.

(It should be.)

"My question is," asked Urd, "What direction should we be heading?  It all seems so aimless."
     "That's the point, daughter dear," said Hild, "It is supposed to cause you not to feel, to want, just the desire to sleep and perhaps dream to try to remember life as it was to escape this."

[Trace Carter]

"Maybe we need a map."

[Auir]

"I'm not sure, did he take it with him?" asked Skuld.

[paladin313]

"Let me check," she said, hitting a few buttons where she was and said, "No, in fact, it's in the same room with you, on the coffee table."

"I don't really see any tourist stands," said Ian sarcastically.

[Trace Carter]

"ha. ha." said z

[Auir]

"Great, what do we do now?" she said.

[paladin313]

"Use that laptop," she said, "I'll give you access.  It's essentially a laptop version of Yggdrasil, and he doesn't know this, but with many areas blocked for him, because he wouldn't know how to use it right.  It would prevent a disaster.  However, you know all the access codes, so, between the two of us, we can keep track of them.  They're lost without that!"
