"Wait... Are you saying that Hild or someone working under her.... was protected by the System Force? And the System was hacked?" Urd said. "Shit... That ain't good..."

"I don't recall hacking..." Malek said. "Did you hack their system, Hild? Or could it have been the System Force, somehow trying to pay me a favor?"

"Well, I don't know if it was hacked...hard to tell when one's tracks have been covered.  Anyway, that's why the system was never tripped.  By the way...how's that hunky brother of yours?"

[HotelKatz]

"He's doing alright. He's having a bit of trouble getting into the hang of things, but that;s to be expected." Urd said.

"I imagine...*sigh*...I wish I could help him more, though..."

"I kinda wish we had gotten to him sooner. It'd have been easier for him to accept some of the weirder things we can do." Urd said.

"Yeah..." she said, dreamily, imagining growing up side-by-side with him, picnics, the beach, other things...

"Well, I'll call if anything odd happens." Urd said.

She snapped herself out of it, and said, "Oh...um...yeah...we'll put a monitor on Morisato to see what is going on."

"Thanks, Chrono." Urd said.

"Oh and give a big hug, kiss, and blo...*cough, cough*...hug and a kiss to Ian from me!" and she hung up.

Urd put away her phone with a sigh.

"I really don't think she has a chance with him..." Urd muttered to herself.

She then faced Keiichi.

"A demon was responsible for your dream last night, and they somehow used the system force to evade detection from us." Urd said.

"They put that in my head?" he asked, "But why?  That thing scared me to death!  I couldn't get back to sleep at all!"

[HotelKatz]

"I guess to warn you? As for why, I have no clue." Urd said.

"Oh, please. I made certain to leave out the scary part." Malek muttered to himself.

Indeed the sun was coming up now, and only a few hours remained in the Le Mans race.  Several times, the car had to come in for a part or two, but Skuld's team was up to the task, getting their man back out on the track looking to pull a rare victory for the GTX class.  The other GTX teams knew there was no way of catching him for the class win, but they all started to throw their support behind Skuld's team as it appeared that the GTX class may have the chance to take the overall race and show the prototypes that they can't bully the others around.
