Z laughed, "wow, you really got him good mom," said Z
"The secret to creativity is combining logic and science with Fantasy and fiction"

"Oh, I fully hope to capitalize on the shares that this shall get us!" she said, "You know there are ALWAYS strings attached to our deals."

"Of course," said Z, "it's part of being a demon."

Malek sighed.

'I really should learn not to bring Hild along when I go to make a deal. Then again, I'm usually too honest with my deals.' Malek thought.

"Oh if you ever want to send a dream to K1, try making one about the something currently  happening so he thinks he is awake." said Z

Hild noted the sigh, and she said, "Oh come now: you didn't think I'd actually let him benefit completely.  After all, that would give shares to the other side and not to us."
She noted what Z just said and then said, "Well, now THAT could make for some fun!  And here I thought you had gone all soft on me, Z."

"As long as it doesn't cause something REALLY bad to happen like K1 leaving Belldandy, I'm fine with helping," shrugged Z.

"Hild, any deals we make only benefit our side and not Heaven, regardless of whether or not the deals help or hinder the client. If they didn't, we would be profiting from all the troubles that naturally come to Keiichi by him simply being near Belldandy, Urd, or Skuld and we wouldn't have to do a thing." Malek said.

"Oh, this won't hinder him per se, but, my dear Malek, you have no foresight to just how far we can ride this horse.  I mean, this was THIS deal.  We let him off easy THIS TIME.  We did him the favor, and though the meal was the payment for this deal, that does not mean he is out of reach for us in other things.  Now that we have this involvement with him, he is our tool.  Joining us is like joining the mob: once you are a part, you can never leave!"
She got that look in her eye and smile that she was known for.

Having as known Hild as long as he has, the look had little effect on Malek at the moment.

"And pushing him too hard for extra deals will result in him becoming a mole for Heaven." Malek said. "If I were a god who was aiming to save both Proter and anyone else who had gotten a bad deal from Hell, I'd be on the lookout, searching for Proter to walk away from you while having a despondent expression on his face, just so I could offer him a chance to save himself and others."

"You sound a bit too paranoid, Old man..." Deberk muttered.

"Who said I'd ride him constantly?" she said, not understanding the resistance, "He could go for 30 years, or however long I want, thinking he'd never see us again, but when the need calls, we have him.  He would owe us, and he would know it!"
She got into Malek's face with that evil look and said, "Have we forgotten who I am?"
Fear is ignorance expressed through panic.

"You're someone who's angry at a lot of things, but hides it well." Malek calmly said.

She chuckled softly as she smirked and said in a low voice, "You have no idea!"

(Remember, I have to keep her the antagonist.)

(I know. I'm just playing Malek as something like a spy who seems forever stuck in the Cold War, or as close as I can play him to. So he's just a bit more paranoid than he should be)

"Hild... I do have some idea..." Malek said, briefly remembering of the incident with Dionysus that happened long, long ago. The only sign that showed that Malek was thinking of it was a brief moment of cold fury in his eyes.

"Ah...so you have woken up a bit, have you?  Or, do you remember who and what you were born to be?"
