"Well, you are always welcome here!" she said with a smile as she served.  Ian then said, "You know, you two are going to be together for some time.  In fact, I know marriage has been tossed around between you two."
     Keiichi turned red and shuddered.  He had indeed bought a ring, but he had wanted to deal with that at the right time.

Keiichi began to hedge, but Belldandy was far more sensible, and said, "Well, we should say something.  After all, we have been together all this time, and it looks like it is a forever thing now, so she is going to have to know."
     "But does she?" he asked, "I mean, she's been okay so far, and, I am not sure how she would react after being left in the dark for so long."

     "What if you have kids?" asked Ian, which caused him to start thinking, considering what sat before him.

He got on one knee and pulled out a box and opened it.  Inside was a large diamond that looked like it cost about $5,000.

     Ian's eyes went over to Skuld, not certain of her reaction.
