"Can we talk?" she said, "Let us take a bath.  I wish to clean up before I start dinner."

[Auir]

"Yeah, sure." she said as the door slid all the way open.

"I'll get my clothes."

[paladin313]

She smiled and went to prepare the bath.  She had to, at the least, get her feelings on this.

[Auir]

She arrived in the bathroom a few moments later.

Bell was already washed and getting into the tub.

[Auir]

Skuld blinked in surprise at her quickness but began to wash herself.

She waited until she was done and got into the tub before she spoke to her.

[Auir]

"Soo, what did you want to talk about onee-sama?"

[paladin313]

"Well, I was wondering how you felt about everything that has been happening between Keiichi and I?"

(I learned about Japanese bathing habits by watching 'Mr. Baseball.'  There was the classic scene of him after his first practice where everyone was sitting on the benches washing, and he just walked in and got right into the tub.  Everyone was staring in silence, and his other American teammate said, 'First you wash, THEN you bathe,' and one of his Japanese teammates said in a heavy accent, 'It likeu jerking off befoah sex!'")

(Watching Sgt. Frog right now!)

"Eh? Well, I'm pretty happy for you two." she smiled.

(That is not always necessarily true. Sometimes people will bathe first before washing. When they do, the younger one is always expected to get out with the older one and offer to wash their backs. Afterwards, they go back into the bath.)

"Well, I was wondering if you would be comfortable with the--living arrangements--as well."

(Well, it still go a big laugh from me!  It was like his American teammate was trying to get him used to things and he said, "Calm down, Hammer.  It's not like you have to teach me how to take a crap or something," as he opened the stall door and saw the squat toilet in the floor.  He then said, "Hammer, you have to come and teach me how to take a crap."  ROFLMBO!)

"Living arrangements? You're not kicking me out to make room for the baby are you?"

[paladin313]

She giggled and said, "No, I mean, are you comfortable with Keiichi and I--knowing--each other in that way.  I know mother already taught you the facts of life, but you have always seemed uncomfortable talking about the subject."

[Auir]

"Oh, no no! You don't have to worry about that. I understand. It's people like Urd I can't tolerate."

[paladin313]

"Oh, and what is it that you mean?" she asked, knowing letting her get it off her chest would help her have more peace.
