"I just mean that involving a demigod and a goddess that are apprentices to Lind of the Fighting Wings would be stupid and suicide." said Z, "probably only Mara would be stupid enough to do that."

"But it seems like that's exactly what she's doing.  Furthermore, does she know Mara?"

[Trace Carter]

"they room together in the arcade, but they never met before."

[paladin313]

"That's what worries me," she said, "If she has certain intentions, she could manipulate Mara into a number of things."

[Trace Carter]

"that would be bad," said Z, "I don't like someone stupid enough to continuously attack a temple guarded by three goddesses who know her weaknesses."

[paladin313]

"And if she has intentions, what do you think she's asking Mara about?"

[Trace Carter]

"probably about the job at the convenience store that Mara got her," said Z truthfully.

[paladin313]

"Well, don't you think that's coming?"

[Trace Carter]

"not really," said Z, "Kara wouldn't involve Mara unless ordered to do so."

[paladin313]

"Ordered? So Hild IS planning something...  Boy, you are a treasure trove of information.  I think Ian would call these Freudian Slips?"

[Trace Carter]

"I never said mother was planning anything," smiled Z, "I simply gave a" hypothetical scenario.

[paladin313]

"Riiiiight," she said, "You're a terrible liar."

[Trace Carter]

"I'll work on that then," said Z still smiling.

[paladin313]

"You're my brother," she said, "But my sisters and our friends are important to me.  You harm them in any way, and I forget you are a brother."

[Trace Carter]

"I'll remember that," said Z, his aura now a bit sad, but his voice not showing it.
