"Yes, and I know between you, Urd, Ian, Banpei, and Segal, everything shall be tended to well."
     Welsper, curled up in the corner, mumbled, "Belldandy: still naive over all these years?"

[Auir]

"Just leave it to me!" she smiled and thumped her chest.

[paladin313]

Welsper walked by, the women all taking a moment to stroke his back as he passed, (loving it all...) and gave Skuld the eye as they passed.  He went up to mini-Z and said, "So, are you thinking Skuld might do what it seems?"

(That second part was for Trace when he comes on.  You're still involved.)

She frowned at this and made note of it.

"What's next?" asked Skuld, looking for any other presents.

Someone broke out some cards and chips, saying, "How about a little poker?"

[Auir]

Skuld looked over to Belldandy to see if she wanted to play.

[paladin313]

"I have never been good at that," she said, always believing the honesty of others, and never being able to bluff, but Urd said, "Come on, Skuld, I'm sure you and I can hold up the family name."

[Auir]

"Mmm, under one condition. They're not allowed to ask about our hand." said Skuld.

[paladin313]

"Of course not," the woman said, "This is Texas Hold 'Em."

[Auir]

"Okay, I'm in." said Skuld.

[paladin313]

"Well, we're playing for money," she said, "Do you have the 2000 yen buy in?"

[Auir]

"Hold on." she ran to her room and started to flip tables and look underneath mats for any spare change. Finally gathering 2000 yen, she came back.
"Here."

[paladin313]

Urd said, "Deal me in!" with a devilish look in her eyes.

[Auir]

Their cards were dealt. Skuld looked at hers and eyed the others.

[paladin313]

She was dealt pocket kings.
