Z thought about it, "I would use subtle manipulations to have her cause her own downfall."

"Okay, what do you suggest?"

[Trace Carter]

"Play a few mind games with her that will lead to her ruining the relationship by her own hand," said Z, "things like pointing out the problems with a human and a goddess falling in love, aging, mortality, occupation, the fact that she is centuries older than him."

"Though those are not without merit," she said, "Don't you think she already watched Belldandy go through that and pass with flying colors?"

[Trace Carter]

"That is true," said Z, "but she is young, sort of, and if you could sow the seeds of doubt into the two of them, then they might end their relationship on their own.  Maybe if Skuld used her magic to help Sentaro, but he wanted to do the thing using his own natural talents."

"Okay," she said, "Set me a scenario that might work on this cruise."

Z thought about it, "well, there is a couples race where the winners get a to eat free at an ice cream buffet,"

"How does that involve dealing with the mortal/goddess conflict you wish to create?"

[Trace Carter]

"Sentaro might want to win the contest for skuld, and she might want to help him with her magic.  when she does, he will think it's a hollow and unfair victory and the reward won't be as sweet.  therefore planting the first seed."

[paladin313]

"Ah, that IS right!  His sense of fair play...  That means you have to find kids that are his equal or a bit better.  Question, though, what kind of a race can you have on a cruise ship?"

[Trace Carter]

Z gave her a brochure.  it was a scavenger hunt around the ship.  the first team to find each item and return to the starting point wins.

"Okay, that seems feasible.  However, I'm wondering if their young minds have led them to fool around at least a little...  You know, experimenting..."
     She sent a chibi, but when she got there, she saw two dead tired kids sawing some serious wood!

"So did they?" asked Z, "I heard that nee-sama gave them 'the talk'"
