Why don't the Chousin just ressurect the dead?

This is something I've been wondering for a while. Why don't they do things like ressurect Tenchi's Mom or fix Mihoshi?

Misaki the Counteractor goes crazy in the future from losing her loved ones, why doesn't Tsunami just ressurect them?

That's something I've been wondering about. Now that all 3 Goddesses(how often Tokimi is with the harem, I don't know) are there, can we expect Tenchi and his girls and family to live forever? Even more so with Tenchi being Kami Tenchi in some way?

Plot convenience, and likely preferring not to meddle directly in the lives of mortals to such an extreme degree.

I thought about this a lot and I figured it because those people are fine with being dead.  Sure Tenchi would love to have his mother back but I doubt she will want to be around for all of eternity... same goes for Azusa and Funaho.  They died thousands of years in the future and likely just got tired of living.

Tenchi and his family (at least the Choushin) are going to be around beyond forever and they're going to have to let people go at some point.

Also they start resurrecting people their would be no end to it.

actually from what i understand, even without the choushin they should be able to resurrect anyone, forever, indefinitely. and its common knowledge how.


misaki jurai for one lives forever by preserving her astral copy using her tree on the moon, so that proves that the royals never have to worry about indefinite life as long as they got a tree that can do that. tokimi rebodies her eventualy,

they brought back the exact same D not once but twice billions of years apart, all they need is liek 4 sets of information if im correct,
they can put any astral in any body but without the other data it has a different memories and stuff.

they bring back miki and kirche aswell and put them in different bodies,

tarant was pretty dead, was brought back as a bioroid multiple times if i remember.


hell they kill widdow and put her astral into fuku.

washu found a classified file with all the complete life data for the entire royal family and thats how she devised a way to trick seiniwa and jurais defence systems, to sneak over to mikumo,  so for the royal family any one of them can be revived perfectly at any time.

update: i'm surprised no one ever asks the question of why his mother actually died in the first place anymore. the death by old age thing they told him doesn't make any sense.

Far as I figure that's 2,000 years with normal treatments, as opposed to special treatments. So like, 2,000 years with normal space hospital stuff. Kiyone opted out of such things, and there was some saying like "Bijin hakumei" or "A beauty would not live long" that was used to describe her in the 101.

Sometimes people are sickly and just die young. My family is filled with such people. Normal medical care here will net you on average like seventy to eighty years, but I've had relatives die in their 30s to 60s just from a bad hand dealt by nature. So I think Kiyone's death is resolved. I think it helped tell a poignant story that wasn't as sci-fi or as magical destiny as people wanted, but seems very Masaki Kajishima to me. I loved episode +1.

So she says but the second Tenchi asks either Washu or Tsunami to god him something I'll probably be done in an instant.  That seems like something she said to them so that they don't try to rely on the three of them to get things done.

I think the real answer is that author decided to kill her off before decided how long people could live.
