Hey all. Way back in the day, there used to be a forum called TenchiZone that SimFreak used to run, where I went by either camintmier or camcabbit. To be honest, it's been so long (2005!) that I can't remember which. Near the end, the spam was getting to the point that I was even recruited as a second admin. If I remember right, he was going to university at the time and didn't have much time to monitor the forum. I had developed a disability (Crohn's Disease, which I still have), so I had a ton of time on my hands and volunteered for the arduous task of IP banning spammers... Back then there weren't many anti-spam tools.

I got into Tenchi Muyo (and the whole anime genre in general) when back in 2001, Toonami first aired the first 13 eps of Tenchi Muyo OVA. Anyone still remember the "digital bikini" Ryoko had on? Then they aired Universe, and Tokyo. I ended up watching it all. Tenchi Muyo was the drug that got me hooked.

Best girl IMO: Washu. Always like the brainy (and slightly odd) ones.

Feel free to ask any questions.

Yup. I had no part in hosting or website design though. Pretty sure Sim was hosting it off his personal system, though I'm not 100% sure. The forum was very finicky; it'd crash faster than Mihoshi in a shuttle. I originally found it after watching the OVA series on postage stamp sized RealMedia videos that the site hosted. That forum pretty much kept me sane while my intestines were trying to kill me (Crohn's Disease). I mean, they still are, but I've now got better meds... lol

Edit: Just found my old profile on the TZ forum. Wow, that brings back memories.

Welcome to the forum. AstroNerdBoy, Jibril, myself, and some of the others have also been a part of the Tenchi fandom for a long time now.
Help out with improving the Tenchi Muyo wiki:

I was part of the 2002 Deviantart hype surrounding the Tenchi Muyo show, and that's where I decided to major in graphic design and computer science. We are in need of some first generation Tenchi-hites here, welcome welcome.  :chord:
