Hi! My name is Laney and I live in central Florida. 

I've been a Tenchi fan since the early 2000's when I started watching Tenchi in Tokyo on Toonami. I was in 7th or 8th grade at the time. My favorite is Tenchi Universe though, which I also remember on Toonami, then I eventually saw the uncensored versions of the shows online somewhere in the mid-2000's when I was in 11th or 12th grade.

My favorite characters are Kiyone, Ryoko, and Ryo-Ohki.

I recently started rewatching the first two OVAs, TU, Tenchi in Tokyo, and the movies again after over 10 years, and while I'm not as big on Tenchi in Tokyo as I used to be and I'm not a fan of the character design in the 3rd movie, I still love the first two OVAs, Universe, and the first two movies.

Other than Tenchi, I also like Sailor Moon (the 90's series and PGSM), InuYasha, Mermaid Melody, the original Neon Genesis Evangelion, Scryed, and a few other anime I can't remember off the top of my head. Some non-anime series I like are Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Felicity, Flashpoint, MasterChef, CSI: Miami, and Full House.

I have a black cat named Dragon. He's a crazy psycho baby, but he's sweet and funny too.

My hobbies are cooking, baking, writing fanfiction, arts and crafts (mostly drawing, coloring, bead jewelry kits, and polymer clay), and watching true crime documentaries, especially ones about murderous women and forensics.

Hi!

Dragon says hi too. He's watching TU with me right now while I'm trying to work on fic ideas. The first part is set about 6 months after the end of TU and mostly focused on Kiyone. I don't know if her backstory was ever explored anywhere, though I know it wasn't in TU so I made something up. I love to write romance and drama too, and Tenchi is full of humor so I also want to keep some of that. I have one scene  involving the girls finding a handwritten and very smutty romance story and they're going nuts over it. I'm just picturing Ryoko enjoying it a little too much and being all over Tenchi, Ayeka blushing, finding it dirty and inappropriate for Sasami, but getting drawn into the story, and everyone else's reactions and it's chaos! Lol I think Kiyone would probably pretend she's not interested at first and find it unbelievable, but then she'd get into it. She might even take some things from it and secretly think about using them as inspiration for her and her new guy (I gave her a love interest and at first, they take it slowly and she struggles to open up to him emotionally. Mihoshi kinda "helps" with that in her ways). Sasami would love the romance but not bother with the more risqué stuff and some stuff would probably go over Mihoshi's head. Washu would probably be watching and be amused by everything. I took inspiration from one episode of the OVAs with it, where Ryoko and Ayeka read a romance book or something and they're trying to get Tenchi and stuff. That episode was wacky! 😆 Sorry for how badly I explained it. I'm autistic, so I struggle with finding the right words and expressing them verbally.

It's too hot here in FL to do much and I have fibromyalgia so I can barely get off the couch most of the time without severe pain and fatigue anyway, but the heat is trying to murder me. Dragon and Tenchi have been good distractions. Lol
