Ancestors/ Once Upon Our Time, In Praise of Our Ancestors/ Gosenzosan'e

I'm finally getting around to trying to do a Tenchi Wiki page for Tenchi Doujinshi, although I think I might actually call it "Supplementary Material" so it can also include AIC material that might not officially be considered doujinshi.

One issue is trying to determine how to describe the Tenchi Muyo - If - `nanika o sodateru nante shōgakkō iraida (kari) 天地無用 -If- 「何かを育てるなんて小学校以来だ releases.

and while looking at many doujin pages, using Google Lens for instant translations, I find mentions in the very early Night Before the Carnival doujins of this "Ancestors" project, something that was cancelled long ago. Such as in the C57 NbftC 3.5 doujin that ends up being a story outline, of sorts, of the GAP-P game- whiuch he also thought was being cancelled.

I'm trying to figure out if "Ancestors" is related to GAP-P or the IF series, which I literally translate as "It's been since elementary school that I've nurtured anything (tentative)"

The person who uploaded the C90 doujin connected it to "Gosenzosan'e" - which also does sound familiar.

[3rd edit]...oh wait, that's Masquerade. Damnit... This whole rabbit hole has gone nowhere and I still don't know WTF is up with those IF stories. Unless it really DOES have something to do with Masquerade.
