(Idk, energy drinks never really did work for me. It's like gatorade except it tastes like a fruit drink. It's supposed to 'Boost your energy' and 'Recover your muscles')

(Probably restore electrolytes and thus give a refreshing boost.)

He did feel better, and Belldandy had a big breakfast ready, having calculated just how many calories are spent on the track for that long, making sure he had the right nutrients.  She then went to Urd and secretly asked, "What about these dreams?"

"Whoever's doing it is doing it for the purpose of keeping you and Kei together. Loophole abuse and such." Urd said.

"I...don't understand.  I mean, I fear for him that he might try to hurt himself in keeping this...or that they may constantly put challenges to him...oh goodness...Urd, what have I done to him!"

[Trace Carter]

Z yawned, "do you know any place that sells coffee?" Z asked Skuld.

[Auir]

"There's free coffee in the lounge." she said.

[Trace Carter]

"Thanks," said Z, heading off

Keiichi then said, "Hey, it did help some.  Thanks, Skuld...now it's time to suit up!"

"Good luck Keiichi-nii!" she grinned, giving him the thumbs up.

With that, he was in the sleeping compartment of the trailer, first putting on his fire resistant one-piece undergarment, fire retardant coveralls, heavy duty boots, fingerless gloves, and he grabbed his helmet and put on a ball cap.  He came out, decked in the colors of Whirlwind, with their logo, and Ayoshima Motors--both being sponsors--and said, "Let's win this and get the best qualifying spot!"

"Look, Bell... You and Keiichi did what you thought was best at the time, but it's not your fault. It's Hild's fault for finding a loophole to cause Kei and you some misfortune." Urd said. "I guess we better be on our guard, now that it seems like Hild found a way to get back her 'lost' misfortune shares."

"They...they just need to leave him alone!" she started to cry, "He has suffered enough in life!  He deserves so much better!"

[HotelKatz]

"He does, Bell, he does." Urd said, as she placed a hand on Belldandy's shoulder. "We'll find a way through this, like we always have."

Malek was idly watching the scene through a viewing orb. He had a large bowl of spicy popcorn chicken.

"If she were to renounce being a goddess, we couldn't touch her or Keiichi, but neither could Heaven. I doubt she'd throw away being with her sisters, just so that Keiichi would be safe from us." Malek muttered, as he ate some popcorn chicken.

Then, a reassuring hand came on her shoulder, accompanied by a voice that said, "It's okay, Bell...you know I'd go to Hell and back for you.  In fact, I think I did!    I'd do it all, if it meant being with you."
     She wheeled around to stare at him briefly, tears streaming, and then almost knocked him over as they embraced.
