Z walked back with a cup of coffee, "looks like everything's ok."

Urd smiled, but it didn't reach her eyes.

'Leave it to Hild to find a way to wreck things, even if it's just a little. If it was a bowl of punch, she'd definitely spike it with something...' Urd thought.

(Personally, I think the bowl of punch thing is off. Urd would have spiked a bowl of punch long before Hild would have. The difference would be what they would spike it with.)

With that, the crew left the trailer and headed for the car.  The team was already over the thing, and Chihiro said, "Well, because there will only be 18 of the 36 cars for this race, there will be no restricter plate, so, pedal to the metal!"

Z drained his cup and threw it away, "anything you need me to do?" he asked.

"Be ready in the pit like you've been," said Chihiro, "If we pit, we may only need it once, but it is important to see how we do under actual race conditions.  This preliminary race is only 175 miles, and used to determine where Keiichi will start in the big race on Sunday.  This is a good test for all of us."

Everyone was heading out, but Ian was worried about Skuld.  Yes, she had a pass.  Yes, she could be there, but she could not bee seen helping with the car.  He wondered if they were going to adult her.

Z was wondering the same thing, he knew he could cast an illusion over skuld to make her look older or Urd could give her a 24hour aging potion, but he hoped it wouldn't come to that.

(are 18 year olds allowed with the crew?)

Z walked over to Ian, "so what should we do if Skuld is discovered?"

"Well, we have to see if she wants the disguise."
