"I meant the guns would look like toy versions of real guns and shoot the same way, like shotguns and machine guns.  not replicas."

"As long as they still look fake in the dark." Deberk said. "And by shotgun, do you mean 'Video game shotgun' or 'Real life shotgun'? Because the real-life shotgun has nowhere near the spread of the video game ones. The video game ones have a spread closer to a blunderbuss."

Mara was finishing her cake, hoping to get her tied up in another game.  Chrono looked depressed, and Ian went over and said, "What's wrong?"
"This is about as much fun as a root canal," she said, "Or so I've heard.  We don't have dental problems."
He sat down beside her and said, "You try way too hard."
She looked at him oddly and said, "You want to explain that?"
"It's clearly obvious why you are doing this," he answered, "But, look, you don't have to work so hard.  Ever try being yourself?"
Now she really looked at him, and he said, "If you really want a chance, try being my friend first.  Try to get to know me and see if you really want to have something happen."
"But...but I'm a goddess," she answered, "I can offer so much more than a human."
"You can offer something different than what a human can offer."
     "You lost me."
"Just because a human is what a human is, that does not mean that a human cannot offer certain things.  I tell you, I bet there are ways that a human can please a person the gods know nothing about."
     "I highly doubt that."
"There are things you can offer a human can't, but that does not mean that either one is not special and cannot make a person attractive.  If you want to beat out Megumi...I assume...of whom I have not committed either, try being my friend first.  That's what Megumi is doing."
Now Chrono sat in thought.  Could it be that she had been foolish?

"video game of course," said Z, "we could also add in auto-turrets for bases and sniper rifles and vantage points for said guns,"
"The secret to creativity is combining logic and science with Fantasy and fiction"

"That's getting a bit away from lazer tag...." Deberk said.

"sorry," said Z, "I was just dreaming of the ultimate game arena.  we should still keep the scoring and ranking system though.  we could even have people pay to have parties here."
"The secret to creativity is combining logic and science with Fantasy and fiction"

"Something to think about for special events." Deberk said. "I plan on making the arena be a bit modular, for easy redesign."

"what's the theme?  Urban? Sci Fi? Fantasy?"
"The secret to creativity is combining logic and science with Fantasy and fiction"

"Whatever we feel like. At the moment, I'm sticking with no real theme." Deberk said.

"sounds like fun," said Z, "now I'm going to try Time Crisis while my avatar runs things here."
"The secret to creativity is combining logic and science with Fantasy and fiction"

"Have fun." Deberk said.

Z went to look for time crisis
