As things progressed, Urd hoped to hear some give and take between the two of them, hoping to hear something of Megumi in this.

Unfortunately Kara and Z had started using psychic communication to avoid suspission.

(They don't even know she's there.)

Soon, Megumi showed up with a charged Ian and Megumi waved at the couple, all happy to see them.

[Trace Carter]

They waved back

"So, how are the love birds today?"

[Trace Carter]

"fine," said Kara while Z blushed

[paladin313]

"Hey, I just wanted to say sorry.  I just don't know what came over me yesterday.  I mean, just because you have a job to do doesn't make you bad.  I mean, I don't have to accept offers from you.  And if someone does, aren't they the foolish ones, knowing with whom they deal?"

[Trace Carter]

"no hard feelings," said Kara

"Nah," she said, all friendly.  Urd saw that as natural--to anyone not familiar with that world.  Indeed, people can have a change of heart in that time, but Megumi is a stubborn one.  Something didn't seem right.

[Trace Carter]

"shall we get to class?" asked Z

[paladin313]

"Well, this is going to be boring," thought Urd, "What could be learned from that!"

Kara nodded and they headed off
