Finally, an anime season not mostly comprised of sequels that I'm not ready for or new stuff that just didn't catch my eye!

Here's what I'm watching this season...
•Dragon Quest: Adventure of Dai
•Hanyo no Yashahime (Though being a sequel to Inuyasha, this one might end up
not being a seasonal anime)
•Love Live! Nijigasaki School Idol Club (On which note, tough to choose best girl; I had the same problem with Sunshine!! TBH)
Compare that list to the other anime seasons this year, which had almost
nothing for me. Everything I was interested in save for Kaguya-sama: Love is War Season 2 and Magia Record: Madoka Magica Gaiden (The
only two seasonal anime I watched this year aside from the above, with the former being the
only sequel this year that I was actually ready for) was all sequels that I wasn't ready for (Blame IRL circumstances in 2018 and 2019 that are no longer a factor anymore for preventing me from playing catch-up in time; sadly, the damage was already done). It's the reason why I was hit a bit
too close to home when the COVID-19 pandemic caused Digimon Adventure:, Kamen Rider Zero-One, and Mashin Sentai Kiramager to go on hiatus. Not only was Kaguya-sama: Love is War Season 2 almost done by then, but Ultraman Z started up right when those shows returned.
As for stuff that isn't seasonal...
•Digimon Adventure:
•Kamen Rider Saber (This one's toku, but I'm listing it for consistency reasons)
•Tenchi Muyo! OVA 5 (We don't get episodes for a few months at a time, but I'm also listing it for consistency reasons)
•Ultraman Z (See Kamen Rider Saber; this one's almost over BTW)
I've officially dropped the aforementioned Kiramager, because I was a couple of episodes behind... and then a certain announcement frustrated me to no end at the very beginning of the month which threw me even more off course (*COUGHSTEVEINSMASHCOUGH*). Shame because I was enjoying the heck out of it. Definitely checking out Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger once that starts, though.
Made the huge mistake of watching Isekai Cheat Magician recently, tried to wash it down with the remake films for Code: Geass. Nunnally was as cute - evil as ever

^ When a show looks interesting on paper and then it turns out to be bad. Don't feel like falling for that, LOL. It's too true about the new stuff that comes up in the seasonal lineups as of late. This is
exactly why I'm not too keen on checking out new stuff in the seasonal anime lineups unless I've heard good things about the source material and / or the fanbases feel that the anime adaptation nailed it. This logic led to me checking out the first seasons of shows such as Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-kun! Dr. Stone, and Cells at Work! as they aired (And good thing I did, because I enjoyed all three of those and can't wait for their second seasons this coming year), and is also why I plan on checking out Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out! at some point.
