I'm finally getting around to working my way through reading the retranslated versions and I gotta say, they're great.

I did notice a few hiccups, but aside from one sentence, I haven't noticed any glaring issues. Unfortunately, when I read, I never have the mind to take notes and forget where/what those issues were right away... In case anyone is wondering, for example, more recently, I noticed around the time Seina gifts Imperial Gems to the girls, there's an instance it also gets called Imperial Jade. Tho, that could just as easily be a misunderstanding, on my part.

There's only one mistake, that won't get outta my head, so much so, that makes me feel like I'm being trolled. In the scene Airi pummels Seiryo, she pulls off Makunouchi's Golden Combo and the liver blow got typed out as river blow. It's like an annoying song, that won't go away.

liver blow, uppercut, dempsey roll = golden combo

EDIT:
In the original translation project, some miscellaneous content was pruned out to speed up the translation process and I'm actually enjoying those bits & pieces, as I go about reading. One such got mentioned previously, about a girl in accounting being proposed to and at it's core this does seem minute, but the truth is it does have a payoff. In these scene about half of the girls in accounting are proposed to, in order throw a wrench in Seto's plans. But this itself doesn't sound all that important, the payoff comes after Ryo-ohki visits Jurai. Ryo-ohki's visit reminded Jurains what it's like to have children around and now we've got a bunch of soon-to-be newlywed couples... as in Jurai is about to experience a baby boom, in the wake of the events above.

I'm really enjoying all the little extras like that, which itself aren't that important, but help flesh out the world itself. Figured I'd share that with anyone interested in reading these either for the first time or perhaps considering wither or not to reread the novels again.

Thank you for getting the new volume out. It is greatly appreciated.

I can't wait for the next volume to see if there are any lore bits lost in the cut sections.

Well Damn!
That's embarrassing!

I really spend a lot of time rereading these things to catch errors like that.
Here's where they are:
Imperial Jade should be Imperial gems, GXP7, pg 182
This one is due to DeepL and Google Translate. Imperial Gems or Jade was about 50-50. I went with gems for no particular reason.

River Blow should be Liver Blow, GXP3, pg 39
Wish I could say this was on purpose. It is kinda funny.

I'll get these fixed and a couple of other things I forgot in the next couple of weeks and re-upload them to Eff.

Thanks for the kind words!

You're welcome. Finished blazing though volume 9 the other day. And I'm sure it was mentioned before, but who's the veiled widow on the cover of Kamidake Onsen 5 supposed to be again? I thought it was Mikami Kuramitsu, as the hair matches up perfectly, but Mikami doesn't seem too opposed remarrying. At least not after meeting with Widow. And from what was mentioned in volume 9, I can't help but think it's Kuisu Panta. The rumors about Seto killing off the widow would simply be a ruse, to explain a missing person, that is now shadowing Seto. It'd also explain why Kuisu appears to be in her 40s, while Seto still appears to be in her 30s.

From Eff's translation:
The Veil lady is the commander of the 1st Imperial Defense Fleet. Next to her is Seto; and Minaho and Airi from the time they were being sheltered at the Galaxy Academy.
The Commander of the 1st Fleet is wearing a widow's mourning attire. Covering the face indicates that she remains faithful to her late husband and refuses to remarry.
She perished in a decisive battle with the Pirate Guild (caught in the explosion of her Royal Ship, her body was never recovered).

I really should add some more of Eff's notes in the future!

So she's dead, huh? Guess that means she was most-likely the partner to that gen3 seed Torrent got his hands on. Odd tho, that Seto would be suspected of having killed her then.

I was honestly thinking that at the end of each volume, a community notes section would be a welcome addition. Something that could go into greater detail about related characters oft overlooked, due to the assumption readers already have a greater familiarity with the extended universe characters.

I spent a couple of days thinking about book formatting and have decided to reformat GXP 1.

I've uploaded it to Eff as GXP 1, Episodes 1-4 (Retranslated)(2ed).

I've also added more of Eff's Translator Notes.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks!

except she isnt dead we find out.
GXP11:
Quotethat way, it could still make things uncomfortable for her in the military. Criticism against her
would be aimed no longer at her, their anger would be directed to Mikami. Even though Mikami
was a Kuramitsu, she couldn't help but be drawn into dealing with the dispute, especially now
that Mikumo's reign had ended.
"Minami should be President of the Elder Men's Association, but if Taima is appointed it will be
awkward."
"That's a big deal... good thing the captain of the first fleet who lost a fight to me is in good
health."
* * * Translators' note: This seems to be her second mention. I assume this is Seto talking about
the mysterious lady on the doujin cover. This also seems to confirm her as a Kuramitsu, but she
can't be Minami's wife because she is a widow. * * *
"If so, then there's no problem, it might be a good opportunity to eliminate the influence of
Seniwa from GP."
"The opposition from those people will be great, but ... I think we'll cope, I'll deal with that on my
own. It seems though that there's nothing to keep us from moving ahead with this right away."
"Good, then let's move ahead with things."
Azusa and Seto headed for the transfer gate with quick pace to fulfill their respective roles.
Seto, who came back to the Mikagami again, breathed a big sigh of relief. "Unfortunately to do
this we have to put some troubles on Seina."
