On the other side, an immedate tribunal was requested.  Once Hild heard Malek had gone off the reservation, she immediately agreed, and the temple was declared a neutral site.  Immediately, a courtroom scene was plopped onto the temple grounds out of nowhere, and it was requested that Malek, Dionysus, Hild, Urd, Bell, Kei, and anyone else that was now involved be brought or come.

(I wonder where you're going with this?)

Dionysus was wrapped in special chains and the squad had brought him. Malek had also appeared.

Urd had also appeared.

(Because everyone has their day in court, and, to keep Malek from becoming a vigilante, this is to be settled once and for all.  It is some kind of punishment or sealing, because the doublet system means that a demon would die if Dionysus died.  That would definitely warrant Hild's attention. You started it, this is my reaction.  You wanted to play it out, I'm playing it out!)

Hild and Odin sat in the judges position, though Hild shivered being in close proximity of her ex, having to work with him.

(Ah.)

"Thank heavens! I thought I was gonna die." Dionysus cheered.

"Don't be absurb. I had no intention of killing you." Malek said.

Odin then said, "Don't be so cheery.  If what you are accused of is true, you may wish you were dead."
Hild added, "If people take contracts of demons, they do so of their own free will, not because they are forced.  If they cannot see the danger, it is their fault, not the demon's."
"If we offer contracts," said Odin, "Then there is the necessary evil of allowing the other side the privilege.  However, we are going to determine just what happened here, and get both sides of the story, for, if the demons were wrong for what they did, then that shall be taken into account.  However, if your actions were extreme in trying to prevent them from making a mistake, then, despite preventing a disaster, you still may have crossed the line.  If what I heard from my daughter is true, then what you did would be the same as dropping nuclear bomb to get rid of a hornet's nest at one's house."

"But-but-but demon are evil!" Dionysus said in shock.

"Please. No being is pure good or evil." Malek said.

(I apologize for the fact I'm going to be posting a bit slow today. Star Trek Online is running a special event.)

"Do you not think people do not know that, if we are evil?" asked Hild, "Do they not make the choice?  I call in the demon who was supposedly to hurt the people you claim to protect to the stand."
Fear is ignorance expressed through panic.

"Yes'm?" Malek said, after he teleported to the stand.

"YOU were the demon?" asked Odin.

"Judging by your reaction, I take it you might need to have a few words with the gate guards." Malek said.

"Possibly," he answered, "But let us start with you.  Considering the fate of this god here, you now must disclose what the deal was that you offered.  We need your side, and then we will get his.  I'll get to the gate guards soon enough."

"As for the humans, I decided to befriend them while I was on vacation. Since the realm they lived in was quite like something akin to a dungeons and dragons scenario, the aimless quest we were on was quite amusing. One day, I was sent out to go get some supplies, and I came back to discover that Dionysus had used a password-protected madness spell on them. I demanded that he undo the spell. He laughed and ran back to Heaven." Malek said.

"And why do you think he was justified in doing that to them?  Was it something he misinterpreted?  Was it something you did to them and didn't tell them?  What is your guess why he did this?"

Z watched and listened
"The secret to creativity is combining logic and science with Fantasy and fiction"

"Do I think he was justified in doing that to them? No. Was it something he misinterpreted? I don't know, I never asked him. Was it something I did to them and didn't tell them? The only thing I can think of that I didn't tell them was that I was a demon, but that was because they never asked. What is my guess why he did this? He doesn't like not being the center of attention." Malek answered.
