Hild then asked, "Tell us: do you know these two?"
Fear is ignorance expressed through panic.

The two humans were wearing some armor that wouldn't look out of place in some Fantasy rpg manga.

Dionysus shook his head and said, "Not really."

"Wha? Where are we?" The Female adventurer asked.

"Tikalo,... Listen, you and Harrkis were brought to the future to help in a hearing." Malek answered.

"Malek? What's going on?" Tikalo replied. She then spotted Dionysus. "Hey! That's the Asswipe that tried to bribe us with booze to leave you. He even said you were a demon. Even said he was going to attack our minds if we don't do what he wanted us to do."

"But I am a demon. A bit of an equivalent exchange demon type, if you want to get technical." Malek replied.

".... Why didn't you tell us?" The male adventurer asked.

"Nether you nor Tikalo ever asked, and there never seemed to be a good time to bring it up, Harrkis." Malek answered.

"By 'equivalent exchange demon' what do you mean?" Tikalo asked.

"I uphold my end of the deal to the exact wording." Malek answered. "You guys aren't mad?"

"A little bit, but nothing that will last a day or two." Harrkis replied.

"I bet we have all sorts of adventures after Drunko is dealt with, eh, Malek?" Tikalo asked.

Malek smiled in a way that those that knew him best would know that he's feeling a lot of pain inside. The interrogation squad noticed this and quickly used some of the chains that were keeping Dionysus in place as a gag to silence Dionysus.

"We three do spend a lot of time together afterwords," Malek answered. (technically not a lie, but not the answer she was looking for.)

Z closed his eyes.  he was trying to control the urge to use his illusions to drive the wine god past the brink of total insanity.

A demon guard tapped Z on the shoulder.

"What was it that 'Drunko' as you call him, wanted you to do?" asked Hild.
Fear is ignorance expressed through panic.

"Renounce Malek as a friend." Tikalo replied.

"yes?" Z asked the guard

"So, you consider Malek a friend?" asked Odin, "Tell me, what was the deal you made, and what was it that he wanted from you, and what did he promise you?"
Fear is ignorance expressed through panic.

"Do you wish to leave the place for a bit to calm down?" The guard asked.

----

"The closest thing Malek ever made to a deal with us is when he first met us. he asked if we wanted another adventurer and we said yes. He replied that as long as he gets his share of any treasures we might find, he'll stay with us." Harrkis said.

"It depends on what he called his fair share," said Hild, "Yet, nonetheless, by your own witness, there seemed to be no strings attached to this."
Hild then looked at Dionysus and asked, "So, was doing what you did to them worth it, or is there something else we don't know that was not said?"
Fear is ignorance expressed through panic.

"I bet they're lying to protect him." Dionysus pouted.

Tikalo brought out a war hammer that seemed to be brimming with the fire of a volcano.

"Can I take a whack at'im, pleeeasssee?" Tikalo asked.

Odin asked, "Do you have reason to lie.  Remember to whom you speak, because I can cast a truth spell on you."
Fear is ignorance expressed through panic.

Tikalo then gained a slighlty sinister smirk as she remember a lesson her teacher once told her.

"A well-placed truth is more effective than a perfect lie. beard-o." Tikalo said.

(Tikalo and Harrkis have no idea who Odin is at the moment.)

He drummed his fingers, and then cast a truth spell on them to see if they were telling all or concealing something.
Fear is ignorance expressed through panic.

The two adventurers were telling the truth and weren't concealing anything.
