Noble Scarlet then asked what she planned to do if Daddy, (Tyr,) set her up with a 1st class license that would allow such.

A chibi Z was watching them.

Hild, getting ready for her spa treatment, said, "So, what are they up to now?"

[Trace Carter]

"if skuld had the qualifications, we might have another contract problem."

[Auir]

"Hmm, I wouldn't know. I'll think about it when the time comes, I've got more present matters."

[paladin313]

"Has he wished anything on her yet?"

Soon, they were at the promenade, and the guide began telling all about the ship, how big it was, how fast it was and its range.  He said, "Okay, now we come to the bridge."

[Auir]

Skuld was listening was great interest.

They were led into a large room, and it was what you would find in our time, but still kind of a star trek layout: bridge chair, navigation, helm, engineering console, but all computerized, radar screens, Doppler radar for weather, GPS, and so forth.

[Auir]

(The star trek layout was based off of the standard bridge design of our naval ships.)
Skuld was coming up with new ideas in her head.

[Trace Carter]

"thankfully no."

"And this is the most high tech thing around for cruise ships.  Now, over here is a special detector used if we are in a particular location of the world.  Any guess what it is and why it would only work in certain locations?"

"Don't worry," she said, "We'll have to work on things to make sure that never happens."

[Trace Carter]

Z nodded, "so you like the cruise?"

[paladin313]

"Oh, of course," she said, "But, I wonder what they would do if their navigation system put them in the wrong place?"

[Trace Carter]

"Let's not," said Z, "I'm looking forward to hawaii and Kara bought a new swimsuit."

[paladin313]

"We'll get there," she said, "I just want a slight detour."
